The Laser Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of laser treatments under the supervision of a dermatologist, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. This role requires a strong understanding of laser principles, skin anatomy, and patient care. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be dedicated to providing high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various types of laser equipment for a range of dermatological and aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to hair removal, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation correction, and vascular lesion treatment.
• Conduct thorough patient consultations, assess skin conditions, and recommend appropriate laser treatments.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions and potential side effects.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, sterilization procedures, and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment parameters, progress, and any adverse reactions.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laser equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Monitor and manage inventory of laser-related supplies and products.
• Collaborate effectively with dermatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in laser technology and techniques through continuous professional development.
• Address patient concerns and provide a comfortable and professional environment.

Requirements

DHA License or Eligibility is Mandatory

Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Laser Technician in a clinical or hospital setting.

Strong understanding of skin physiology, common dermatological conditions, and contraindications for laser treatments.

Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various laser devices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong patient-centric approach.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
