Position: Health & Safety Officer (OSH Officer)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Industry: Healthcare

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Health & Safety Officer to join our healthcare group in Dubai. The role is critical in ensuring compliance with DHA, MOHRE, and JCI standards, while promoting a safe and risk-free environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce health & safety protocols in line with UAE regulations and JCI standards
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective/preventive actions are taken
• Organize and lead safety training, drills, and awareness programs
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for audits and compliance
• Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities (DHA, Civil Defense, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare safety role in the UAE
• In-depth knowledge of JCI standards and DHA regulations
• Strong communication and reporting skills
