Lead the development and execution of the hospital’s safety management strategy.
Establish and enforce safety policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
Oversee all safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Monitor adherence to local and international health and safety regulations.
Coordinate and deliver training programs on occupational safety and emergency preparedness.
Develop and maintain hospital-wide emergency response and disaster readiness plans.
Provide strategic safety insights and reports to executive leadership.
Manage the Safety & Risk team, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Systems), Occupational or Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is required.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in safety management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role—preferably in a healthcare environment.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare safety standards, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
Proven ability to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
