Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the full cycle of insurance operations from verification and pre-authorization to claims submission and reconciliation, ensuring smooth coordination between patients, insurance companies, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patients’ insurance coverage and benefits prior to treatment.
  • Obtain pre-approvals and authorizations for medical and dental procedures.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and coding of services before claim submission.
  • Submit insurance claims promptly and follow up on pending or rejected claims.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of insurance policies, coverage limits, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with doctors, reception, and billing teams for accurate data flow.
  • Handle patient inquiries related to insurance coverage, approvals, and claims.
  • Prepare and maintain insurance reports, reconciliations, and compliance records.
  • Liaise with insurance companies for empanelment, negotiations, and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience as an Insurance Coordinator in a medical or dental clinic (UAE experience required).
  • Strong understanding of medical coding, billing, and insurance processes.
  • Proficiency with MOH insurance portals and clinic management systems.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
