Position Overview
The Medical Approval Manager is responsible for managing and supervising the medical approval process to ensure compliance with internal policies, medical standards, and partner requirements. The role involves close coordination with internal departments, healthcare providers, and insurance partners to maintain operational quality and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage the medical approval team’s daily operations.
• Review, assess, and authorize medical requests in line with company policies and clinical standards.
• Ensure compliance with approval procedures and insurance coverage guidelines.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and third-party administrators on approval-related matters.
• Monitor turnaround times and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Generate and analyze periodic reports on approval trends and performance.
• Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (required).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical approvals, claims management, or healthcare insurance.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, treatment protocols, and insurance practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare management systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet operational deadlines.
