About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Microbiology Lab Assistant to join our Quality Control Department. The successful candidate will support daily laboratory operations, assist senior microbiologists, and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance in all microbiological testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Sample Preparation: Collect water, environmental, in-process, and finished product samples as per the approved sampling plan.
✔️ Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment, including the cleaning and sterilization of equipment and work surfaces.
✔️ Housekeeping: Perform regular area cleaning, sanitization, and fumigation as per the established protocols.
✔️ Assisting Senior Staff: Support senior microbiologists in performing microbiological tests, data analysis, and research-related activities.
✔️ Environmental Monitoring: Execute environmental monitoring activities according to approved SOPs to ensure compliance with GMP standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

◾ Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field.
◾ Prior experience in a microbiology or pharmaceutical laboratory is an advantage.
◾ Knowledge of basic microbiological techniques and good laboratory practices (GLP).
◾ Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining laboratory safety and hygiene.
◾ Good communication and teamwork skills.
