MetroMed Trading LLC is looking for a passionate and strategic Head of Sales & Business Development to lead and grow our pharma business across the UAE and GCC.

Location :- Dubai, UAE

Designation :- Head of Sales and Business Development (Pharma Division) – UAE

Reporting to :- General Manager

Job Purpose :- This is a senior role that will lead a high-performing team, drive regional expansion, and play a key role in shaping the division’s future growth. You will be responsible for end-to-end sales management, key account leadership, team development, and identifying new business opportunities and partnerships across the region.

Key Responsibilities :-

  • Lead the UAE sales team and manage GCC distributor relationships.
  • Drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability across the portfolio.
  • Own sales forecasting, demand planning, and pricing strategy.
  • Develop and execute access strategies to support market entry and reimbursement.
  • Build and manage a motivated salesforce and ensure performance against targets.
  • Serve as the key interface with healthcare stakeholders, hospitals, and purchasing committees.

Key Skills & Experience :-

  • 12+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles in the UAE Market.
  • Strong background in business development and key account management.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams across multiple geographies.
  • Deep understanding of the GCC pharma market, including public and private sector dynamics.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Educational Qualification :-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharma or related science
