Job Description
Capital Health is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapy – Team Lead to oversee an independent caseload and lead the occupational therapy team. You will ensure efficient day-to-day operations, manage clinical workloads, and provide specialist care for complex patient conditions. As a team leader, you will supervise and mentor staff while delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy aligned with best practices.
👩 ⚕️ Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the occupational therapy team, including scheduling, staff supervision, and workload prioritization.
- Deliver specialist clinical assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for complex cases.
- Ensure high standards of patient care, documentation, and compliance with Department of Health regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
- Act as a clinical role model and resource for junior therapists, promoting continuous professional development.
- Manage operational tasks such as inventory control, reporting, and handling patient-related issues.
- Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement, and research initiatives.
✅ Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science in Occupational Therapy
- Valid DOH License.
- Current license in country of origin or point of hire without restrictions
- Minimum 10 years full-time relevant clinical experience
- Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory role
- Master’s degree in science or Master of Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution (Preferred)
- Excellent Arabic and English communication skills (Preferred)
- Experience in a large acute care healthcare setting as Senior Therapist or equivalent (Preferred)
