Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including clinical interviews, diagnostic evaluations, and testing, to determine appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Provide individual, couples therapy to adult clients, addressing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, personality disorders and more.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with Journey Wellness Center’s policies and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in monthly case conferences to ensure a coordinated approach to care.

• Maintain regular individual supervision to ensure best practice and continued learning.

• Engage in community outreach and educational programs to promote mental health awareness and the services offered by Journey Wellness Center.

Qualifications:

• CDA active license.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated experience in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, SFT, EFT or EMDR. Specialized training an asset.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with different clientele.

• Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.

• Sensitivity to cultural and individual differences.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Fluency in English; other languages are an asset.
