Be Me Services is a special needs center, we provide individualized consultation to children and their families to improve speech and language, social emotional, behavioral and academic skills. Our unique curriculum involves conducting sessions at the child’s home or school. Our goal is to help children realize their full potential by providing them with opportunities to grow in their relationships and environment.

Role Description

This is a Speech and Language Therapist role. The Speech and Language Therapist will be a part of our team to provide consultation and intervention for children and their families to improve their communication and language skills. The therapist will be responsible for conducting and evaluating therapy sessions and developing customized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Possesses a Clinical Speech and Language Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children or adolescents with communication disorders
• Must have a DHA licensed or eligible for licensing through DHA
• Experience with conducting diagnostic assessments and creating customized treatment plans based on identified strengths and weaknesses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other professionals
• Able to work with variety of clients and manage a busy caseload
• Effectively support and liaise with patients, family members and others involved in patient care.
• Willingness to continually learn and commit to ongoing professional development
• Must have a Driver License
