Join Capital Health’s Specialized Rehabilitation Hospital as a Speech and Language Therapy – Team Lead. You will lead SLP therapists to meet department goals while delivering expert clinical care. This role combines administrative leadership with hands-on patient assessment, treatment, and management in a rehabilitation setting.

👩 ⚕️ Key Responsibilities

Leadership:

• Support Line Manager in therapy services and act as deputy when needed.
• Supervise and appraise junior therapists and aides.
• Manage staff development, recruitment, attendance, and documentation.
• Ensure therapy coverage aligns with patient census and coordinate multidisciplinary activities.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders and represent therapy staff in family meetings.

Clinical (80% of role):

• Perform speech, language, and swallowing assessments.
• Develop, implement, and revise treatment and discharge plans.
• Manage own patient caseload, including discharge and equipment needs.
• Educate patients and families; monitor progress and update physicians.
• Maintain clinical documentation and participate in team conferences and professional development.

✅ Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science in speech & language pathology
• Valid DOH license
• Membership in professional speech pathology body from home country
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Management/team lead experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology (Preferred)
• Excellent Arabic and English verbal and written communication skills
