Job Brief

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bariatric Surgeon to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing surgical treatment for patients suffering from obesity and related health issues.

Bariatric Surgeon responsibilities include examining patients, recommending and performing bariatric surgeries, coordinating with other healthcare professionals for post-operative care, and conducting follow-ups.

They should be well-versed in minimally invasive surgical techniques and have a comprehensive understanding of the nutritional needs of bariatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and advising patients on treatment options
• Performing surgical procedures to assist with weight loss
• Coordinating with nutritionists, therapists, and other medical professionals
• Conducting post-operative follow-ups
• Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field of Bariatric Surgery
• Providing expert advice to patients about managing their health post-surgery
• Maintaining patient records

Qualifications

• Board certification in General Surgery
• Fellowship training in Bariatric Surgery
• Proven experience as a Bariatric Surgeon
• Excellent patient management skills
• Knowledge of bariatric surgical procedures and treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current medical license
