Position Summary:
The Head Nurse is responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of the Medical-Surgical unit. You will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care while managing daily operations, staff assignments, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Leadership: Oversee day-to-day unit operations and conduct daily rounds to ensure optimal patient care.
• Staff Management: Prepare duty rotas, manage staff performance, and provide clinical coaching to junior nurses.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to infection control guidelines and international accreditation standards like JCIA.
• Patient Experience: Resolve patient concerns and lead person-centered care initiatives with compassion and dignity.
• Reporting: Prepare departmental KPIs and quality indicator reports for nursing administration.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of post-degree experience, including a significant leadership/management role in a Medical-Surgical ward.
• Licensing: Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
• Skills: Strong clinical governance, team leadership, and familiarity with JCIA standards.
