Senior / Lead Microbiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior or Lead Microbiology Specialist with advanced expertise in microbiology to handle scientific and supervisory responsibilities within the laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise microbiological testing, including bacteria, fungi, and viruses.

Interpret laboratory results and ensure their accuracy and reliability.

Supervise and guide laboratory technicians and junior microbiology specialists.

Implement, review, and maintain quality systems (ISO 15189, ISO 17025, GMP).

Participate in method development and method validation activities.

Contribute to scientific research and/or regulatory reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology with 10+ years of experience, or

Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or

PhD with at least 1 year of relevant experience in microbiology.

Professional certification or license from a recognized health authority

(e.g., SCFHS – Saudi Commission for Health Specialties).
