About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist to join our Respiratory Care team. In this role, you will provide specialized respiratory therapy and rehabilitation services to patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions. The specialist will play a key role in assessing patient status, implementing individualized rehabilitation programs, and supporting long-term recovery through evidence-based therapeutic interventions and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments including 6-Minute Walk Tests (6MWT), spirometry, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET).
  • Monitor and interpret vital clinical data such as SpO₂ levels, heart rate, ECG rhythms, and arterial blood gas (ABG) results.
  • Develop and implement individualized cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and exercise programs based on patient condition and clinical guidelines.
  • Perform respiratory therapy interventions including airway clearance techniques, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive ventilation support.
  • Respond effectively to respiratory emergencies and provide immediate clinical intervention when needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation of patient assessments, progress, and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, pulmonologists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care plans.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on disease management, inhaler techniques, smoking cessation, breathing techniques, and lifestyle modification.
  • Ensure proper equipment calibration and quality control for respiratory care devices and monitoring systems.
  • Follow all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care / Respiratory Therapy from a recognized university.
  • Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration in Respiratory Care.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy or cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Strong knowledge of cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation techniques and respiratory care equipment.

  • Excellent communication in Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
